The Club at The Saujana
Tucked away in lush tropical gardens, Kuala Lumpur, The Club at The Saujana is a boutique resort which includes the acclaimed Saujana Golf and Country Club, designed by Ronald Fream, comprising two 18-hole championship golf courses. The Spa, opened in November 2009, offers a variety of relaxing treatments using Med Beauty natural products. An adjacent 39m swimming pool in the gardens overlooks the golf driving range.
Shangri-La, Tokyo & Philippines
Opened earlier in 2009, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, occupies the top 11 floors of Marunouchi Trust Tower Main, is adjacent to Tokyo Station, and offers views of Marunouchi to the east and Tokyo Bay to the west. Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa, Philippines, located in the northern part of Boracay Island, opened on the same day as the Tokyo property. Spacious guestrooms and villas are furnished with ethnic Filipino decor and native materials. Both hotels feature CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La, the group’s own award-winning spa developed from ancient Chinese and Himalayan healing therapies.

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, this granite building in Saint-Frejoux stands in the centre of a vast esplanade surrounded by a moat. Feudal in appearance, it comprises two rectangular units flanked by three round towers. Awarded the ‘Vieilles Maisons Françaises’ grand prix and the Historic Dwelling ‘Belle demeure’ Award.
