Whatever your preference this autumn, these on-trend products are sure to impress.

This autumn, make-up artists stand at opposite ends of the spectrum. At one end, bold colours and razor-sharp contours are the way to go – the ‘kaleidoscope’ make-up trend. At the other, it’s a natural look, defined by subtle, natural skin and blurred, worn-in kohl. “It’s not heavy with cosmetics, and it’s how women want to wear make-up.” says renowned make-up artist Mark Carrasquillo of the latter trend.

Bobbi Brown Metallic and Sparkle eye shadow:Add a layer of Bobbi Brown’s Metallic or Sparkle eye shadow to a base eye shadow. The metallic shades have strong pigmentation and a satin finish, while the sparkle offers a buildable sheer finish – it just depends  how you feel on any given day.

MAC Blue Nectar lipstick, Intoxica: This autumn, lips need a bright stain even if that’s the only bit of colour on the face. “The girls should look the way they are, just uniquely adorned with this very intense lip,” says make-up guru Tom Pecheux. MAC’s limited edition Blue Nectar collection offers Intoxica, a raspberry-red shade that adds drama in MAC’s signature matt finish.

Tom Ford Eye Quad, Last Dance: This eye palette of gold, green, and glittering blue personifies the ‘kaleidoscope’ trend. It offers warm undertones and a frosted sheen that wears well and is easy to work with. The blue tone is bold in the palette and offers the perfect cool undertone.

Lancôme, L’Absolu Rouge lipstick: For a bold, contoured lip that’s in line with the razor-sharp contour trend for autumn, Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge is back with a range of 50 pinks and reds. This luscious lipstick transitions easily from subtle to high impact, the creamy non-drying formula provides long wearability, and Pro-Xylane helps fill in lines to create smoother and fuller lips.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush: For the more pared-down end of the spectrum, this blush adds a silky texture to the skin, allowing for a smooth application and a hint of shimmer. Its buildable quality allows this sculpting blush to go from semi-sheer to semi-opaque, creating a healthy glow that is natural and understated.
