luxe - Claverley Court Apartments Knightsbridge, London
Written by Chris Anderson
Claverley Court Apartments offer lavish accommodation in one of London's most exclusive districts, with its finest stores and indulgent restaurants close by.
If an apartment building is less than five minutes' walk from London's most famous department store, Harrods, then you would expect it to be just as luxurious. Claverley Court, situated in a tree-lined square in nearby Beaufort Gardens, definitely delivers, with a total of 16 lavishly decorated serviced apartments. These range from a basic studio to a one- or two-bedroom apartment, right up to the Knightsbridge Suite, ideal for families, or the Beaufort Suite penthouse. Each is available for either a short-term let or something longer.
So why would you choose to stay here, apart from having the world's most indulgent convenience store on your doorstep? One reason could be that the in-house team of designers spent two years shaping the interiors, with the premium apartments stretching to exotic marble, walnut floors, furniture from B&B Italia, and selected works of art. Flatscreen TVs, iPod docks, Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour concierge service are common to every apartment. The Knightsbridge Suite adds to this with a king-sized bed and a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom, and a Jacuzzi in the master bathroom. The Beaufort Suite, meanwhile, offers king-sized beds in each of its three rooms, with the main one leading to a conservatory and balcony. Each apartment has both east and west-facing views, so that guests can watch a sunrise or sunset whichever option they take. And a relaxing stay is certainly required to enjoy this area of London to the full.
In addition to Harrods, there are many fantastic bars and restaurants, antiques dealers, and beauty salons in Knightsbridge. Famous landmarks within walking distance include the Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyde Park, and even Buckingham Palace. The Royal Family could be your neighbours.
