luxe - Marina Bay Sands Resort

Marina Bay Sands comprises three hotel towers crowned by the magnificent Sands SkyPark. Overlooking the city on one side and the sea on the other, views from this blockbuster building are spectacular.
Riveting from all angles, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Sands SkyPark is a world-class destination for leisure, entertainment, shopping, and business. The three hotel towers include luxury suites with saunas, bars, and media rooms, while the Presidential suite has three bedrooms, exercise and massage areas, a baby grand piano, and, of course, a team of butlers. ‘Hanging gardens’ of bougainvillea extend from every balcony on the hotel’s seaward side. The resort is awash with designer shops, restaurants, a museum, theatres, nightclubs housed in floating pavilions, and a casino with an ultra-impressive 132,000 Swarovski crystal-studded chandelier. An indoor canal allows shoppers to ride in sampan boats built in the style of traditional 17th-century vessels while enjoying a spot of waterborne window shopping. The hotel’s 55-storey towers are capped by the boat-shaped Sands SkyPark, a tropical oasis defying gravity, perched 200m up in the sky and home to the world’s largest outdoor infinity pool.
Pack your appetite when you come to Singapore. Local favourites include steamed chicken served with fragrant rice; roti prata (a crispy pancake served with a bowl of thick curry gravy); then there’s chilli crab, which comes with a bib – say no more. Areas such as One Fullerton and Stadium Waterfront abound in restaurants and hip nightspots, while the unique heritage area Rochester Park has trendy eateries galore. Late night makan (eating) is popular, particularly in the ethnic quarters at Chinatown and Little India.
