Botanique Hotel & Spa
Nestled amid the hills and mountains around Campos do Jordão, Botanique Hotel & Spa offers ‘post luxury’ service and facilities. The accommodation includes six suites in the main building and 11 stand-alone villas. Rather than a personal butler, guests are assigned a dedicated multi-tasking team. The hotel offers a spa with eight treatment rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and swimmable lake, clay tennis courts, and a private equestrian centre. The restaurant, Mina, serves farm-to-fork contemporary Brazilian cuisine.
The Jade Hotel
With meticulous Georgian-style architecture and sumptuous Art Deco interiors, most of the 113 rooms offer unobstructed views north and south, with breathtaking vistas of New York. The higher floors offer select rooms with a terrace, and for guests who prefer private outdoor space, second-floor guestrooms feature individual garden terraces separated by a landscaped trellis. A library cove off the lobby is stocked with classic New York-themed books, and restaurateur Frederick Lesort operates Grapevine, the day-to-night restaurant and bar.
W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
Located on an exclusive island resort with private berths, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove is just minutes away from beaches, restaurants, and Orchard Road shopping. The 240 guestrooms and suites offer sea or marina views. Facilities include a fully-equipped fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and spa. The two restaurants are SKIRT, which features a variety of grills, and Kitchen Table, offering international cuisine. A swim-up and a poolside bar serve cocktails and snacks.
Park Hyatt Chennai
Situated next to the Governor’s Residence, the Park Hyatt Chennai’s 201 luxurious rooms and suites offer floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city or Guindy Forest Reserve. The Antahpura Spa features a rooftop infinity pool and fitness centre with stunning views of the city. Restaurants include The Flying Elephant, which offers diners an unmatched multisensory experience, with six open interactive kitchens spanning multiple levels.
Once famous as a West End meeting place for artists and intellectuals, the Café Royal has reopened as a 159-room luxury hotel, true to the glamorous spirit of the original. It offers an Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre – including pool, gym, spa, and yoga studio – as well the legendary Grill Room and Domino Rooms, once frequented by luminaries such as Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, and Virginia Woolf, and restored to their 1920s splendour.
