Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels
With two hotels open and four more opening by the end of the year, Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels are all renovated Qatari properties, each with its own individual style. Already open are Al Najada with 25 rooms, and Al Mirqab with 37. The six hotels will have resort-style service, with guests being able to move between the properties for use of the facilities and restaurants in all six hotels.
Bulgari Hotel & Residences
Located in Knightsbridge, Bulgari Hotel & Residences will be the first luxury new-build hotel to open in the capital in 40 years. The 85-room property includes an 80-seat Italian restaurant, a bar with its own street entrance, a ballroom seating 136 people banquet-style, a 47-seat screening room, a library, cigar shop, and a spa with 12 treatment rooms and a 25m pool. The hotel also boasts seven Bulgari ultra-suites.
TRYP New York City Times Square South
Located in the heart of Manhattan, TRYP New York City Times Square South is central to New York City’s key business centres and top attractions, including world-class shopping and dining, Times Square, the Empire State Building, and Madison Square Garden. Distinguishing features and amenities include tapas-style dining at The Gastro Bar at 35th; LobbyFriend, a temporary online social network; and signature fitness, family, and Samsung experience rooms.
The newly renovated Hotel Schweizerhof offers 99 stylish rooms and suites, Jack’s Brasserie restaurant, the sophisticated lobby lounge and bar, and a new spa. With its 150-year history the Schweizerhof has a rich heritage. Celebrities such as Peter Ustinov, Grace Kelly, and Albert Schweitzer stayed here, and following a two-year renovation the hotel’s grand style has been restored. The new spa includes pamper pool, sauna and hammam facilities, as well as fitness and treatment rooms.
InterContinental Doha The City
InterContinental Doha The City has 302 rooms and 58 suites, plus 176 luxurious residence suites that include a range of one- to four-bedroom apartments. The hotel offers six restaurants and two lounges. Strata, on levels 55 and 56, is Doha’s highest restaurant with superb views and a chilled seafood menu. Leisure facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, a health and fitness club, steam and sauna rooms, and male and female whirlpools.
