The ultimate destination for designer pre-collections in the UK, Selfridges presents its top tips for the most desirable labels taking us into next season as they hit shop floors in its London and Manchester stores from June. 
From the casual cool silhouettes of ‘sports couture’ looks to gothic glamour and faux fur detailing in outerwear, pre-collections offer a first look at what can be expected from the world’s leading luxury brands for autumn/winter.

Summer StyleComplementing the pre-collections perfectly, summer sees Selfridges welcome a number of accessories brands to the stores for the very first time.  Among them is Aquascutum, with a collection of elegantly grown-up totes and shoulder bags in an artfully simple colour palette. Across all Selfridges stores luxury footwear are must-see departments, featuring leading labels, including Jimmy Choo, with pre-collection styles already available.  Also new and exclusive is the fabulous collection of jewellery and handbags from Australian designer Rachel Ruddick, who uses high-impact colour and prints in a thoroughly modern range packed with stand-out, statement buys. |
Selfridges’ Designerwear Buyer, Ros Leach, tells Oryx: “One of my favourite pieces to arrive to store in the coming months will be Vionnet’s beautiful cashmere-fringed poncho – a fabulous investment piece. Sarah Burton’s pre-collection for Alexander McQueen is also due to set our shop floor alight with hot pinks and pops of red in military silhouettes.
