Kees van der Westen Speedster
These Dutch masters of fine coffee-making machinery are known not just for quality equipment, but inspired design. This espresso machine is handmade to order in the Netherlands, and requires professional installation. Kees van der Westen made improvements on the original Speedster, considered by some as ‘the best espresso machine in the world’, and this is the result.
From US$7,590

Freud Stove-Top Espresso Coffee Maker
Simply put espresso-ground coffee in the filter basket, add cold water to the bottom compartment, screw together, and place on the stove. As the water boils, it is forced up through the ground coffee to make four shots of perfect espresso. Suitable for use on gas, electric, and halogen hobs. Available with black, cream, pink, blue, or wooden handle; prices vary.

Nespresso Lattissima EN680M
The Lattissima incorporates De'Longhi’s integrated frothing system with Nespresso’s capsule system for an authentic Italian espresso and cappuccino at the push of a button. The system includes a milk container for cappuccino or latté macchiato, and the entire container is detachable, so it can easily be placed in the refrigerator. Amounts of frothed/steamed milk and coffee are adjustable.

Bugatti Gold Diva Espresso Coffee Machine
The gold-plated Bugatti Diva uses the traditional Italian espresso method to make espresso, cappuccino, latté, and americano coffee, equipped with a powerful steam arm to froth milk. Cups can be heated on top, and both ground coffee and easy-serving espresso (ESE) pods can be used with the machine.

Elektra Belle Epoque
Highly original with its slim look, the hand-built Belle Epoque is a machine in a class all of its own, where beauty meets functionality – merging the charm of the past with the technology of the future. From its meticulously sculptured inlays and eagle-topped dome, to its Briarwood coloured-bakelite trim, this machine is designed to be a focal point.
