Teapot ‘Fuji’

Tsuiki-dokiis the 200-year-old technique, from Japan’s metalworking town Tsubame in Niigata prefecture, of creating hammered copperware such as kettles and teapots. Gyokusendo, founded in 1816, still uses these techniques to create beautifully crafted pieces and is renowned for its unique method of colouring the metal. Tableware Lamp

This lamp by designer Dongho So is inspired by the traditional Korean dining ware ban sang gi. It is made of wood varnished carefully in the traditional way with ottchil, a traditional lacquer.
